Current Events

Our Boy of the Month for December 2009 was Vincent. He has shown vast improvement in school, and is working hard to get to grade level. He has shown an interest in drawing and is currently making some art work for us to raffle at our upcoming golf tournament in May 2010.

Our Boy of the Month for January 2010 was Antonio. He continues to thrive in his school environment and has had many academic successes this past quarter, earning 4 A’s! Antonio continues to work on his individual goals and has renewed weekly home visits with his mom and toward his permanency plan.

Boy of the Month for February 2010 is Joshua. Joshua also has a penchant for art/drawing and also loves to build and make electronic gadgets! He has done well in school and continues to work on his individual goals.

Great job and congratulations to VINCENT, ANTONIO and JOSHUA!

Our Residential Staff of the Year 2009 was GRETCHEN! Gretchen is our support staff, she manages all the children's doctor appointments, clothing and nutrition needs. She does a fabulous job keeping our children healthy, clothed and well fed! We appreciate all her support!

Our Current Staff of the Month for February 2010 is Sedric. As our Night Facility Manager, Sedric does an outstanding job securing the house and keeping the children safe as they sleep through the night. Sedric is a team player and will assist in any way necessary to ensure the safe and secure functioning of our facility. Congratulations Sedric!

The kids are all back in school and will be enjoying the upcoming Spring Break! They will have 2 weeks off in March to enjoy the spring weather. We have lots planned and look forward to getting that break from school.

We will be having our annual Picnic in May 2010. Staff and kids enjoy a day filled with fun, games and food.

Many of the children are helping us with our upcoming annual golf tournament by making some artwork to be raffled off, as well as helping us with decorations and favors.
