boy and cookiesOur Boy of the Month for November 2009 is Freddy! Freddy has done an excellent job in school and within the program. His teacher states that Freddy has improved significantly over the past quarter. Freddy also participates readily in our Skill Streaming and Moral Reasoning Groups. He will be going out to dinner with our Executive Director Tanya to celebrate his accomplishments! Congratulations, Freddy!


RC Staff of the Month is Ricky. Ricky continues to do an outstanding job working with the children in our care. Ricky has developed positive relationships with the children and is a mentor to the teenagers in our program. Ricky goes above and beyond with his time and energy! Congratulations, Ricky, and thank you for making a positive difference with our youth!


The children enjoyed a week-long Thanksgiving vacation. We were blessed during this Thanksgiving holiday. Special thanks to Oasis Church and Pastor Tim Mason for inviting our children to the church on Wednesday for a delicious dinner! The boys ate heartily and had a great time.

Krikorian Premier Theatres once again blessed the children with a movie and snack on Thanksgiving Morning! This has become a tradtion thanks to the continued support of Krikorian Theatres!

A Big Thanks to Staff Gretchen and Facility Manager Phillip for making Thanksgiving Dinner for the children... Both these staff have incredible cooking skills and it showed on Thanksgiving!

All of the IERC Staff made the children's Thanksgiving Vacation a great experience!

Looking ahead to Christmas...the children will be enjoying a three-week vacation from school! We have some wonderful parties scheduled for December 2009. Crafton Hills College will be hosting their annual Christmas Party for the children on December 11, 2009 at 4pm. We are once again looking foward to wonderful games, food, story telling, and of course Santa. Special thanks to Dr. Frances White and her student body. Crafton Hills College have been supporters of the children of IERC for over 20 years!

The Guardian Foundation will be hosting a Christmas Party for the children on December 13, 2009. A great Big Thanks to Heather Avis!

IERC Board of Directors will be hosting their annual Christmas Party this year at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands. The children are sure to have a magnificent time with food, fun, and Santa! Mrs. Nancy Newton and her friends are supporting the children of IERC this year for Christmas. We are extremely grateful and blessed! Thanks Nancy!
